They moved to Mt Kuingai some time ago and recently went bust. They had a
big receivership auction where everything had to be sold, even all the shop
fittings etc. One member from my club picked up some bargains in machinery
and bits and pieces.

I was told they moved for the travelling convenience of one of the
principals, against the advice of many customers. Auburn was a convenient
and central location for lots of people into that sort of thing. Mt Kuringai
was definitely not convenient.

Would the average person in that location have been remotely likely to be
a customer? I would have thought that western suburbs would have
more of their customers.

Does anyone know of any similar place still around.
In the old days we had hare and forbes [now only new stuff] and others
they are all now extinct

thanks I will but I was looking for the bits of different metal and old
tools etc .
I dont think that there is anyone left like the old second hand places
or even hardware places that sell the things I look for .
The used to be a hardware on buffalo road ryde but it has gone .
Try and buy 2 mm stainless grub screws and other such items [he used to
have them]
