Are there any nowadays? Google, yellowpages, AMRM etc seem to reveal
nothing except maybe Fisher Discounts in Fyshwick.

For a place where you can go to see a lot of trains in boxes, that's
probably all there is. Not that you'll get much attention from the staff
at Fisher Discounts if you do. The model shops that cater for the
RC/wargaming crowd sell paints and scenery stuff and may even stock a
few trains; the other one Fyshwick on Newcastle St does. But, why
bother? The internet and mail order is cheaper...

Dunno if it's a good thing or not. Bit irrelevant now, since the reality
is that they HAVE all closed down in Canberra. This is rapidly becoming
an old man's hobby, after all.
